He was predeceased by: his siblings, Patricia Forphal (Patsy) and Kenneth (Kenny). He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Frank J (Kim), Jesse J (Jenny) and Nicholas (Nick); his grandchildren, Ashley (Ryan), Aaron (Michele) and Alyssa (Foster); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Marvin, Kenley and James; and his siblings, Dr. Leonard Parsons, Linda Sjurseth, William Parsons (Bill) and Kathleen Kammerer (Tom).

Memorials preferred to MS Society or Ecumen Seasons at Maplewood.
