With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helga Winandy (Forest Lake, Minnesota), who passed away on February 22, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Winandy; and her parents, Alois and Martha. She is survived by: her daughters, Davina and Marlys; her son-in-law Daniel; her grandchildren, Nicole, Derek and Alex; her sisters, Martha and Ilse; her sister-in-law Mavis; her niece Suzanne; and her nephew Guy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Peter (1250 S Shore Dr, Forest Lake, MN 55025). A Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Friends of the Boundary Waters or a favorite charity of your choice.
