He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Maki and Nora Maki (Sangola); his siblings, May Aho (Fred), Ruth Smith (Clarence Jr.), Harold and Edwin Maki (Diane); and his daughter-in-law Nancy Maki.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Maki (Heikkila); and his children, Darrel (Luisa DelCaro), Duane (Jane), Sue Frieburg (Darryl), Gary, Janet (Jon Perry) and Dean (Jody). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
