He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Gross and Dorothy Gross (Tyvoll); his sons, Thomas and Mike Gross; his niece Lori Gross; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Lien and Miki Gemmel.
He is survived by: his wife Erin McCaffrey; his daughters, Amy Gross (Jim Gannon) and Katy Gross (Larry Matzdorf); his grandchildren, Camille Gross, Sophie Gannon, Emma Gannon and Joe Gannon; his daughter Covie; and his siblings, Gene Gross (Mary Lou), Karen Martin (Bob), Buzz Gross (Gail) and Norma Lien. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
The family prefers memorials directed to the Forest Lake Scholarship Foundation or donor's choice.
