He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn; his son John Patrick; and his parents, John Carl Rinke and Hilda Rinke. He is survived by: his sister Betty Wagner; his children, Carol Hart (Jim) and Charles, Jr. Rinke (Robin); and his grandchildren, Kristin Hart, Erika Nieves (Joseph), Alyssa Hart, Sam Rinke (Jessica), Sophia Johnson (Aaron) and Phoebe Stanford (Alex). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
