He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sumosky (Sears); and his children, Kathy Hermansen (Bruce), Barbara Scierka, Mary Jane "Jane" Scierka, Michael Scierka and Andrew J. Scierka (Stephanie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
