With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Hartman of Foley, Minnesota, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 30, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andre DeSmet and Lillian DeSmet (Barfuss); and her sister Doris Tolzien. She is survived by: her husband Carl Hartman; her children, Carl (Michelle) of Cedarburg, WI., Dianne Amundson (Randy) and Kenny (Lynette); her grandchildren, Alan Hartman (Anastasia), Andrew Hartman (Heidi), Allison Hartman (Aurora), Candy Amundson, Ashley Amundson, Brooke Nelson (Kaelan), Marie, Abby and Mason Hartman; her great grandchildren, Gwendolen, Mackenzie, Landon, Harlow, Abigail, Zachary, Lily, Airlia, Winnie, Amedee, Evine, Range, Ayden and Oliver; her brother-in-law Fred Tolzien; her niece Patti Moore; and her nephew Gerry Tolzien. She is also survived by 'grandma' to her 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church in her memory.
