He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Anson and Isabell Anson (Longstreet); his parents-in-law, Leroy and Irene Ekberg; and his brothers-in-law, Gordon Ekberg and Robert Horton.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ekberg; his children, Monica Shaw (Andy), Curtis Anson (Natosha Scheenstra) of Bellingham, WA and Michaela Jackson (Jered) of New Prague, MN; his grandchildren, Levi, Ruben, Conrad Shaw, Aiden, Luka Anson, Charlie and Edward Jackson; his siblings, Donna Horton of Hastings, NE, Keith Anson (Darla) of Milaca, MN and Janice Gear (Bill) of Hastings, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Vicky Ekberg of Buckman, MN and Jamie Ekberg (Jennifer) of Milaca, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and family friends.
