He is survived by: his wife Norma Marttila; and his children, Greg Schminski (Elaine), Beth Bailey (Steve), Carrie Johnson (Ryan) and Janelle Wapola (Michael). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
