Roderick Engel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roderick Engel of Fisher, Minnesota, born in Crookston, Minnesota, who passed away on October 10, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Engel and Ardith Engel (Rossberg); his wife Teri Engel; and his brother Kent Engel. He is survived by: his children, Roderick Engel (Karen) of Pelican Rapids, MN, Nicole Wardner (Jason) of Crookston, MN, Scott Engel (Janna) of Ada, MN and Heidi Hawkins (Nick) of Douglasville, GA; his grandchildren, Shari Olson, Katie Smith (Ryan), Erik, Austin Engel, Cody, Logan, Brianna Wardner, Ryan, Morgan Engel and Nicholas Hawkins, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Jacob, Grace, Fynn and Jean; his brother Jon; his sister-in-law Marlene Engel of Bismarck, ND; and his sisters, Jennifer (Tom Milnikel St), Karla (Mark Kummer) and Melanie (Max Unger). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Because of COVID, please wear masks at all times during visitation and the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be given in his name to the Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo, ND or Fisher's Theodore Stalemo American Legion Post #242.
