He was predeceased by: his son Edward; his great grandchildren, Andrew Michael Austin and Donald Joseph Austin; and his siblings, Adorine Scheving, Margaret "Peggy" Norton, Loretta Norton, Robert Austin, Edward Austin and Keith Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Wavra; and his sons, David (Sheryl), Daniel (Kristi), Richard (Mary Ann) and Christopher. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
