He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kangas and Ailie Kangas (Johnson); and his sister Eleanor George. He is survived by: his wife Elsie June Nelson; his children, Craig (Gloria), Kevin (Cindy), Randy and Janice (Ken Zacher); and his sister JoAnn DeVeris. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
