He was predeceased by: his father William 'Bill Burkhalter. He is survived by: his mother Marlene Burkhalter (Strese); his wife Lynn Lipinski; his children, Steve Pesek (Kelly Harrington) and Nicole Frederick (Kevin); his granddaughters, Abigail and Madelyn; his stepsons, Tony Horton (Ann) and Matt Horton (Megan); his sisters, Leslie Burkhalter (Rob Schlafmann) and Heidi Koenig (Scott); his niece Keaton; his nephew Cade; his father-in-law Leonard Lipinski (Judy Beltz); and also Marlene Burkhalter (Strese). He is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
