He was predeceased by: his parents, Tauno Lehtinen and Aune Lehtinen (Ahlbeck); his brother-in-law Nils "Freddie" Johnson; his parents-in-law, Don MacKenzie and Mable MacKenzie; and his brothers-in-law, Rod and Ken MacKenzie.
He is survived by: his wife Donna MacKenzie Lehtinen; his children, Dennis, Derek Lehtinen, Darcy Alvarez (Jon) and Danielle Lehtinen; his grandchildren, Dominic, Marlee, Ella, Alivia, Camden, Bryson, Aria and Jaxson; and his sisters, Sherry Anderson (Allen), Gayle Johnson and Cindy Welt (Duane). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
