He is survived by: his wife Marge; his children, Debbie Schutte (Don), Lisa Tanner (Mick), Tina Schmeling and Chuck Thulin; and his grandchildren, Jon Hawkinson (Robyn), Amy Salzl (Jason), Joe Tanner (Berta), Alyssa, Emily, Jared and Hannah Schmeling. He is also survived by his parents and seven siblings.
