He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Solie and Florence Solie (Plante); his wife Beatrice Nordby; his parents-in-law, Barney and Hattie Nordby; and his brother Willard.
He is survived by: his sisters, Vanna Raaen of Fertile, MN and LaVonne Raaen (Merlin) of Fertile, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Gulbranson and Joanne Lyngholm (Dave). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery fund.
