He is survived by: his wife Verna Halstead; his sons, Brad Norland (Kristen) of Fosston, MN, Mike Norland (Karen) of Fosston, MN, Tyler Norland (Laura) and Thief; his grandchildren, Kora, Cullen, Aaron, Zach, Halle and Harper; his sisters, Becky Haskell (Jim) of Bemidji, MN and Nancy Schwartz (Tom) of Bemidji, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Dewey Mattfield of Bemidji, MN, Geneva Velez (Jim) of Bemidji, MN and Sharon Wilkinson (Jim) of O'Fallon, IL. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral Service with full military rites: 11:00 AM, Monday, April 19, 2021 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Fertile, MN, following all of the Minnesota and CDC COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. All must wear a mask to attend.
