Philip Martin Larsen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2025, at the age of 64, Philip Martin Larsen (Fertile, Minnesota) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Philip Martin Larsen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Rev. Martin Larsen; and his father-in-law Melvin Nefstead. He is survived by: his wife Darcey; his sons, Matthew, Andrew (Heidi) and John; his siblings, Gloria Imamura (Albert), Debra Bottjen (Leland), Tim Larsen (Cristy) and Mary Beth Sutherland (David); his in-laws, Sonja Nefstead, Kari, Scott Christiansen, Eric Nefstead and David Priest; his nieces and nephews, Sarah, Abby, Annika, Erika, Joshua, Jacob and Kjersten; and his friend Dan Morton.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Concordia Lutheran Church (100 Jefferson Ave SW, Fertile, MN 56540). A prayer was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Phil to the United in Christ Lutheran Parish, the Fertile Fire Department, Polk County EMS, and Brains Together, an organization dedicated to providing resources, information and a sense of belonging to individuals and their loved ones affected by brain tumors.
