She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hornung and Alice Hornung (Sanders); her husband Manley Helling; her sisters, Jeanine Noppe and Joann Garvie; and her siblings-in-law, Doug Garvie, Robert Noppe, Donald Piepkorn, Charles Sorenson, Ken Larson, Kenneth Helling, Milo Helling and Clara Piepkorn.
She is survived by: her former husband James "Jimmy" Stiles; her children, Linda Bigley of Golden, CO, Steven Stiles (Kym), Randi Lindberg (Jeffrey), Kip Helling (Nanci Jo), Kandi Halterman (James), Kindi Hasbrouck (Danny) and Lindi Mosher; and her siblings, Shirley Scarbo of Lansing, MI, Robert Hornung, Donald Hornung, Eugene Hornung, Connie Masihdas and Bonnie Schaefer. She is also survived by ses 22 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Fertile, MN, following all of the Minnesota and CDC COVID-19 social distancing guidelines.
Marlene Madonna Helling, 85, Fertile, MN, died Sunday, June 28, 2020 under the care of Fair Meadow Nursing Home and Hospice after her long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
