It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther Allen Halstensgard of Fertile, Minnesota, born in Crookston, Minnesota, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Duane Halstensgard; and his son James Halstensgard. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Payment of Fertile, MN; his daughters, Amanda Korpi (Taavi) of Solon Springs, WI, Christine Halstensgard of Duluth, MN and Elizabeth Halstensgard of Fertile, MN; his grandchildren, Milo, Maija Korpi, Aiden Pope and Amelia Halstensgard; and his brothers, Dave Halstensgard (Barb) of New Brighton, MN, Bruce Halstensgard (Mary Jo) of TegaCay, SC, Jonathan Halstensgard of Cambridge, MN, Chau Lam of San Diego, CA, Ngoc Lam of San Diego, CA and Phat Phan of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
