It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence J. Ricard (Fertile, Minnesota), who passed away on November 11, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ricard and Ida Ricard (Archambault); his sister Diane Wald; his brother-in-law Leo Wald; his brother Ronald; his sisters-in-law, Joanne Ricard and Jody Ricard; and his granddaughter Leah Vigum.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Huot of Dorothy, MN.; his daughters, Christine of Saint Louis Park, MN and Nancy Vigum (Michael); his siblings, Steven (Maureen) of Benson, MN, Jennifer Christianson (Michael) of Wyoming, MN, Curtis of Lakeville, MN and Eric (Meagan) of Carver, MN; his grandchildren, Kyle, Sarah Vigum, Holly, Hannah, Grace, Claire Ricard, Isaac, Andrea Christianson, Noah, Maya, Sophia Ricard, Gavin and Mara Ricard; his siblings, Robert (Margo), Dennis (Marlys), Kathleen Wolter (David), Marilyn Sheehan (Michael), James (Colleen), David (Barbara) and Phyllis Varevice (Edward); and his sister-in-law Marion Ricard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Out of an abundance of concern due to the risks of COVID-19, all guests at the visitation and funeral will be required to wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the St. Joseph's Catholic Church Building Fund.
