John Leroy Hagen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Leroy Hagen formerly of Fertile, Minnesota, who passed away on September 29, 2023 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Leroy Hagen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mabel Smith; his siblings, Lucille Severson, Arnold and Monroe Hagen; and his friend Vincent Berg.
He is survived by: his friends, Lloyd and Alta Brunsberg; his grandchildren, Stephen, Christine, David, Paul, Molly and Hannah; his sister Alice Knutson; and his sister-in-law Luming Hagen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Despite Mabel's passing and the challenges of COVID isolation, John showed great fortitude in making it his home.
Memorials may be directed to Fair Meadow Nursing Home or Concordia Lutheran Church, both in Fertile.
