He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Larson and Ella Larson of Beltrami, MN.; his daughter Beth; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Melin, Kay, Lor and Don Melin.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Melin; his son David (Maureen); his grandchild Kayleigh of St. Charles, MO; his son Alan (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Douglas Larson, Natasha Larson, Nyah Linnenberg (Shane) of Tempe, AZ and Gary (Valorie); his great grandchildren, Hans and Thea of Grinnell, IA; his grandson Craig (Heather); his great grandchildren, Alexandra Franke (Landon), Elijah of Fertile, MN and Andrea Duckstad (Charlie); his daughter Wendy Goldhammer (Gordon) of Lubbock, TX; his grandchildren, PJ and Major Paul (Alyssa); his great grandchildren, Claire, Benjamin of North Carolina, Preston (Veronica) and Winmarie Belt (Evan); and also, Germany, Cash of Fargo, ND, Emilia of Austin, TX, Bethany and Jason of Lubbock, TX..
