He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Olson and Clara Olson (Rude); his brother Marvin Olson; his wife Esther Olson; his grandson Ethan Harold Ranz; and his son William Harold Olson.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Olson of Winger, MN, Phyllis Billingsley (Tim) of Edmond, OK, Ruth Olson-Barndt of Anchorage, AK and Colleen Ranz (Greg) of Rural Fertile, MN; his siblings, Floyd Olson (Ruby) of Winger, MN and Verna Olson (Ernie) of Moose Lake, MN; and his sister-in-law Eleanor Olson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
