He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pavek and Mary Pavek (Adams); his former wife Dory; his son-in-law Barry Ellegaard; and his siblings, Patty Wander, Angie Blomseth, Beatrice Steinmetz, Bernice Leier, Leonard, Anthony, John, Bernard and Lloyd.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Preisler; his daughters, Mary Beth Ellegaard of Detroit Lakes, MN and Joan Ellegaard (Eric) of Fertile; his grandchildren, Courtney Spry, Chelsea Johnson (Carson), Tyler Ellegaard and Alyssa Ellegaard; his great grandchildren, Ava, Landen, Olivia and Nolan; and his sisters-in-law, Barb Pavek and Therese Pavek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
