We bid farewell to Darlene M. Mahlum (Fertile, Minnesota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 11, 2025 at the age of 89. Darlene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Harry Benson; her husbands, Werner Mahlum and Pierrie Haumont of Arizona; her mother Dorthy Blosmoe (Broers); her siblings, Harley Benson (Lois), Wanda Eliason (Larry) and Jen Clairday; and her great great grandchild Paisley Dawn Benson.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Mahlum (Kim) and Rhonda Vaagen (Randy); her grandchildren, Dawn Rice (Darin), Jami Revier (John) and Jessi Hagen (Ben); her stepgrandchildren, Meagan Vaagen (Andy Schmitz) and Garrett Mills; her great grandchildren, Hailee Benson (Cody), Eve Revier and Bella Hagen; her siblings, Bea Laubach and Wen Benson; and her brother-in-law Dave Clairday.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Erikson-Vik-Ganje Funeral Home (203 Albert Ave NW, Fertile, MN 56540). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
