He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hagen and Bella Hagen (Ystenes); his siblings-in-law, Raymond Severson, Manley "Bud" Knutson, Mabel Hagen and Lucille Severson; his nephew John Knutson; his niece Janice Wright; and his great grandchild Dylan Pearson.
He is survived by: his wife Iluminada Belen (Luming); his children, Myrna Pearson (Brian), Emil Belen (Kelly), Randy Hammer and Ben Hagen (Jessi); his siblings, Alice Knutson, John Hagen and Monroe Hagen (Jeanette); and his nieces and nephews, John Severson (Nancy), Dean Severson (Jo), Jerry Knutson (Lisa), Mike Hagen (Liz), Larry Hagen (Debi), Mary Anderson (Dewey), Pat Gates (Duane), Martha Modrynski (Gary), Teresa Grant (Bill) and Susan Hagen (Billy Sintiris). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
