He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nilson and Verna Nilson (Banister); his brothers, Elden and Timmy Nilson; his brother-in-law Mark Carlson; his niece Chelsie Grundhauser; his nephew Kaden Gary; and his pet Dozer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bradley Nilson, Victor Nilson (Darcy), Audrey Gary (Dale) and Val Seifert (Darin). He is also survived by one niece and eleven nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
