He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Hasbargen and Ida Hasbargen (Hempel); his wife Preceding; and his siblings, Inez Schuttoff, Ruth Hasbargen, Alfred, Chester, Ernest, Paul, Henry, Vern, Edward and Roy Hasbargen.

He is survived by: his children, Amy Hasbargen (Lance Breiland) of Minneapolis and Daniel Hasbargen (Kimberly) of St. Cloud; his grandchildren, Eva, Bianca Breiland, Joshua (Amber), David and Paul Hasbargen; his great grandchildren, Aiden and Liam Hasbargen; and his brothers, Wallace Hasbargen (Becky) of Wheaton and Fredrick Hasbargen (Karen) of Wheaton. He is also survived by numerous sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
