He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvin Stavaas and Ila Stavaas (Larson); and his siblings, Jerry (Gary) and Carol. He is survived by: his former wife Judy Gooselaw; his sister Sherry Tucker (James Marshall) of Arkansas; and his daughter Laurie Monson (Kip) of Columbus, MN. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews, along with numerous cousins.
