He is survived by: his wife Ardell Olson; his son Reid Olson (Wendi) of Fergus Falls; his granddaughters, Taylor of Fargo and Jamie Olson of Fargo; his sister Audrey Ellingson of Battle Lake; and his brother-in-law David Schoening (Linda) of Becker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
