He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hanson and Josephine Hanson (Johnson); his brothers, Harvey, Gordon, Jerry, Arnold and Eugene; and his nephew Tom Hanson.

He is survived by: his sister Helen Euteneuer (Dennis); and his sisters-in-law, Louise Hanson and Marjorie Hanson.

Memorials are preferred to the Tingvold Cemetery.
