He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Dorothy; his grandparents, Phyllis, Ray Cooper, Minnie and Melvin Vangrud; and his aunts and uncles, Rod Cooper, Lon Miller, Russ Sorensen, Shirley Cooper, Gloria Miller and Lois Sorensen.
He is survived by: his son Jace Robert; his wife Barbara; his grandchildren, Echo and Zane of LeSueur; his daughters, Kristen Anderson (Jon) and Gabby (Lincoln Jon); his sister Debra Thingstad (Doug); and his close friend Jim Stock. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
