He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Mathieson and Palmer Mathieson. He is survived by: his close friend Cherrie Nelson; his daughters, Yvonne and Lisa; his wife Cherrie; his son-in-law Dan; his grandchildren, Sam (Alexa) and Petra (Ian); and his sister Carolyn. He is also survived by extended family; and many dear friends.
