He is survived by: his parents, Eugene Schmidt and Maxine Schmidt; his siblings, Margene Newton (Mark) of Rothsay, Brian Schmidt (Jamie) of Underwood and DeAnn Sitter (Chuck) of Robins, IA; his grandchildren, Bentley, Nathan, Hudson, Scarlett and Joanna; his uncle Paul; and his aunts, Diane Schmidt and Marcella Wildung. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Olson Funeral Home (711 Pebble Lake Rd, Fergus Falls, MN 56537). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
