He was predeceased by: his father Donald Hastings; his grandparents, Bryan, Agnes Hastings, Margaret and Oliver Burlingame; his uncles, Bill Burlingame and Ken Hastings; his aunt Marlene Mekvold (Hastings); his cousin Gary Burlingame; and his friend Mike Whittrock.
He is survived by: his mother Joanne Morton (Burlingame); his sons, Alexander Hastings of Fergus Falls and Mason Hastings of Fergus Falls; his former wife Juli McCabe-Hastings of Fergus Falls; his stepfather Dave Morton of Brandon, SD; his siblings, Kim Hastings of Portales, NM and Jeff Hastings (Criss) of Aberdeen, NC; his aunt Mary Lammers; his uncle Wallace Burlingame; and his pet Gunner. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home (711 Pebble Lake Rd, Fergus Falls, MN 56537). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
