She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Engen and Olive Engen (Wilson); her brothers, Alfred "Curly" Engen, Wilton "Bud" Engen, Leroy Engen and Elsworth Engen (Gordon Halvorson); her daughter Barbara Lyons; and her son-in-law Bradley Knight.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon Halvorson; her brother Dean Engen (Barb) of Big Lake, MN; and her children, Blaine Halvorson (Carol Barlau) of Overland Park, KS, Brenda Knight of Castle Rock, Becky Halvorson of San Diego, CA, Barry Halvorson (Ann) of Battle Lake, MN and Bonnie Hilbert (Gary) of New Rockford, ND.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
