Karen Schafer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2022, at the age of 81, Karen Schafer of Fergus Falls, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, A. G. "Ole" Decknatel and Laverne Decknatel (Johnson); her husband Dave; her siblings-in-law, LouAnn Decknatel and Daniel Schafer; her uncle Bob; and her aunt Ione Nelson.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff and Paul (Lesley); her grandchildren, Kayla Schafer, Kelsey Wheeler (Brandon) and Scott Knudson (Hannah); and her brother Jim Decknatel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials are preferred to the Otter Tail County Humane Society.
