He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Hegstad and Georgeen Hegstad (Siems); his parents-in-law, Art and June Hoffman; and his close friends, Daryl Hoffman and Mark Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Hegstad; his children, Melissa Moe (Tim), Ryan Schroeder (Niki), Becca Hansen (Rob) and Mason Hegstad (Jenna); his grandchildren, Taylor, Madison (Demar), Austin (Amara), Jacob (Ilea), Logan (Amari), Preston, Alexi (Corban), Brandon (Kylie), Jo, Clayton, Ty, Payton, Savannah, Teagan, Maverick and Owen; his great grandchildren, Aniya Schroeder and Oakley Schroeder; his sister Brenda Peterson (Kevin); and his brother-in-law David Hoffman (Dariel). He is also survived by nieces, cousins, aunts, and many close friends.
