He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Erickson and Helyn Erickson (Bevins); his wife Carol Ann Maier; his daughter Alice; and his siblings, Sandy and Norman.
He is survived by: his children, Deb Johnson (Keith) of Alexandria, MN, Ray Erickson (Vicki) of Fergus Falls, MN and Eric Erickson (Sonia) of Tucson, AZ; and his grandchildren, Shawn Olson (Bob), Ashley (Patrick Amelung), Glenn Johnson, Nicole Gaines (Dan), Nathan Erickson (Jeanette), Kelsey Larsen (Andy), Theresa Poling (Gabe), Joshua Erickson, Stacey Bahmann (Brandon), Karlie Hoekstra (Jake) and James Hustad (Erin). He is also survived by 23 Great-grandchildren; 1 Great-grandchild on the way, and 1 Great-great-grandchild.
