She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Lofthus and Mabel Lofthus (Sveback); her husband Rudolph E. Rud; her son Gary; her grandson Tyler; and her sisters, Mildred Solin, Gladys Larson, Clarice Johnson and Edna Foshaug.
She is survived by: her sons, Gordon (Laurie) of Ottertail and Steve (Debra) of Underwood; her daughter-in-law Denise Rud of Staples; her siblings, Lillian Bednarz of Detroit Lakes and Orville Loftus of Detroit Lakes; and her close friend Loren Arndt. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Broen Home (824 S Sheridan St, Fergus Falls, MN 56537). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Broen Light and Life Auditorium (824 S Sheridan St, Fergus Falls, MN 56537).
