She was predeceased by: her parents, Hallace Merkins and Mildred Merkins (Carter); and her husbands, David Vedder and Marvin Andersen. She is survived by: her children, Michael Vedder (Angel), Vonette Swenson, Sharon Stras, Georgianna Jacobson (Jim), Ginger Newborg Asleson (Mark), Virgil Newborg (Jani), Beth Bethkey (Tom), Jason Andersen (Mary) and Brooks Andersen (Pam); and her grandchildren, Carleigh Vedder and Sydney Vedder. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
