He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulfert Emmen and Grace Emmen; and his siblings, John Emmen and Jeannette Holwerda. He is survived by: his sons, Kirk (Jean) of Eagan, MN and Mark (Sabine) of Minneapolis, MN; his wife Audrey; his brother Leonard Emmen; his granddaughters, Isla and Lucinda; and his brother-in-law Arnie Gaasterland (Pat). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
