She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Staples and Alice Staples (Brown); her husband Lloyd Gifford; her daughter Marlene; and her siblings, Jessie Henspeter, Doris Wasvick, Leslie Staples, Earl Staples and Lloyd Staples.
She is survived by: her sons, Harland (Lori) of Ashby, Ronald (Claudia) of Ft. Wayne, Ricky and Rick (Cindy) of Fergus Falls; and her grandchildren, Dean (Brenda), Bryan (Leah), Suzette, Allan, Scott, Daniel, Nathan (Sabrina) and Michael (Alexis).
