He is survived by: his wife Joan Henderson of Fergus Falls; his children, Heidi Hoff (Paul) of Ottertail, Peter Swendsrud (Jill) of Staples, Susie Thormodson (Bob) of Dalton and Tony Swendsrud (Amy) of Dalton; his grandchildren, Nick Heeter (Carissa), Lauren Bernu (Bryce), Lucas Heeter (Kelli), Logan Swendsrud (Kaylee), Jacob, Isaac Swendsrud, Megan Drechsel (Zachary), Greta Thormodson, Adam Thormodson (Tierza) and Allison Foster; his great grandchildren, Jack, Ruby Heeter, Annabelle, W. Beau C. Bernu, Charlotte, Sophie, Brooks Heeter and Amelia Drechsel; his siblings, Karen Frederick (Gerald), Gary Swendsrud (Pauline), Betty Skinnemoen (Lyle) and Donna Behrens; and his siblings-in-law, Jeri Ricks, Julie Henderson, Charles Olson and Glen Gunderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
