He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Ewan and Mary Ewan; and his siblings, Marion Larson and Earl Ewan. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ewan of Fergus Falls, MN; his children, Marit DeKok (Matt) of Princeton, NJ, John Ewan of Fullerton, CA and Eric Ewan (Catherine) of Fergus Falls, MN; and his grandchildren, Nicole Shaffer (Bruce), Amanda DeKok, Sean DeKok, Augusta Vall (John), Audra Dorn (Isaiah), Owen Ewan, Thor Ewan, Alexa Ewan and Annika Ewan. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (702 W Alcott Ave, Fergus Falls, MN 56537). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Inspiration Point Bible Camp, Hillcrest Academy or LB Seminary.
