She was predeceased by: her mother Ella Bergerud (Enquist); her son Bob; her husbands, Robert Dean and Duke Hoivik; her son Don "Doobie" Dean; her daughters-in-law, Cindy and Karen; and her brothers, Ken, Earl, Charles and Vernon.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Dean of Georgetown, Jane Runningen (Larry) of Ashby, Kim Dean of Fergus Falls and Jan Dean of Anoka; her grandchildren, Lisa, Joseph, Gage Runningen, Gabe Dean, Katie Nix, Dan Olson and Charles Daufelt; her great grandchildren, Emma, Raeann Runningen, Allyra Robertson, Devin, Ben, Kayla, Megan Dean, Peter, Silas, Josiah, Asher Nix, Lexie Olson, Tristin and Jayden Hegdahl; her great great grandchildren, Aiden, Addison, Ella Hall and Xaria Runningen; and her sister Mary Lorshbough. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
