She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth T. Stamus and Dorothy Lorraine Stamus (McCagherty); and her grandchildren, Kaden Simonson and Avry Williams. She is survived by: her husband Mel Sanders; her sister Lynne Stamus of Iowa City, Iowa; her sons, Timothy Simonson and Mike Simonson (Trish); her stepdaughters, Amanda McKey and Alanna Williams (Matt); her grandchildren, Ashley Simonson, Cole Simonson, Kendal McKey, Chance McKey, Daly Williams, Reid Williams and Laurel Williams; and her pets, Muffin and Sonny.
In lieu of flowers several memorials have been established to benefit either Hospice of Campbell County Health, the Gillette Cancer Center or the Gillette Animal Shelter.
