With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jane Carlson of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on November 2, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Burback and George Burback; her husband Garland Carlson; and her grandson Jeff Carlson. She is survived by: her sons, Don Carlson (Martha) of Nexa, Alan Carlson (Debbie) of Fergus Falls, MN and Brian Carlson (Tarma) of Underwood, MN; and her grandchildren, Rebecca, Amy, Brittney, Chase, McKinzie, Jordan, Isaac, Cory and Sarah.

“Don, Alan, and Brian: Although Janet & I had not seen your mom since we and our sons Mark and David came to your dad's 90h birthday in July 2017, we have been wondering how she was doing. We knew that she had been having some health problems even before your dad passed, so I just checked the Fergus Falls obituaries and found that she passed in November. Please accept our sincere sympathy. Your parents were very special to us, and were instrumental in getting Janet & me together. Dean Hansen”
