She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Herness and Gladys Herness (Salvevold); her daughter Kimmy; her brother Lester "Orris" Herness; her sister-in-law Betty Herness; her brother David; and her sisters-in-law, Sandra Barry and Helen Barry.
She is survived by: her husband Phillip Eugene Barry; her children, Alan Barry (Karen) of Fergus Falls, Todd Barry (Lori) of Fergus Falls, Trevor Barry (Connie) of Dalton, Brent Barry (Tara) of Fergus Falls and Stephanie Barry of Fergus Falls; her grandchildren, Heather Schmidt (Tyler), Beau Barry, Marlee Barry (Dillon), Brody Barry, Dallas Barry (Ashlyn), Ashley Barry, Abby Barry, Luke Barry (Ashley), Sophie Barry, Emma Barry (Conor), Austin Barry and Carson Barry; her siblings, LeWayne Herness (LaVay) and Forest Herness; and her siblings-in-law, Duane Barry and Karen Herness. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
